2 things stole the show for me.... Sasha in the car park and everyone in the sunset terrace!!!! But Space, STOP letting in so many people!!!!!! :spank:

Next stop, DC-10 (for more over-crowding)....

I have left before because its been so busy, im not a fan of having to step over people or not having enough room to dance, people go just to be seen and say they have been there, others go for the music.

couldn't have put it better myself!!!! there were a lot of idiots literally just standing there in their on the middle of the floor doing precisely nothing!!! as for the discoteca when Chemical Brothers were on, it was WALL TO WALL people!!! barely room to swing from side to side and zero room to throw your arms about and really get into it as you're constantly being pushed from side to side/people standing on you etc etc... no doubt people will come on here sticking up for Space but i fail to see how anyone can in any way at all!!!! Money talks, eh Space??? :(

Just looking forward now to some afternoon action in DC-10 before it starts getting busy and the same thing happens as last night... It's inevitable!!

Yes but Ric ... the same thing happens every year, so if you like clubbing that's not like the Piccadilly Line in Rush Hour Space Opening probably isn't the ideal place to hope for it ..... ;). Guess it helps the cash flow to have a busy opening party and people keep going even when they know what they're in for !

Hope you get some good time in at DC-10 - shame they scheduled Timo Maas and Apollonia to overlap !!!

its the same every year.. car park shuts, so everyone goes inside.

The time from 12am to 3am or so is the worst because you are cramming in everyone from the sunset and car park to the inside dancefloors.
Thats usually the time we just chill out fort a bit, chat to randoms and re-energise. By 3am some people have left and we go for the final dancing stint.

Just heard Funkagenda's mix, was nice for that time of day, he played Scorchio from Emerson & Sasha towards the end.. what an ibizan classic 8)

maybe the weren't doing anything because they physically couldn't move lol

 ... mind you, to be fair (and I wasn't going to say it but ...) in the first 50+ minutes of Sasha's set they probably weren't moved to move (ducks ...)

In all fairness if i intended on being there for the duration as im sure many would be, i wouldnt be doing too much dancing early on, id be worn out.

As long as you don't have a go at Fanciulli's set thats fine by me ;)

So, I was watching the live stream of this while I was at work on Sunday. Everyone looked to be under 20 in the crowd... or am I just reeeeaaaalllly old now?

I was watching this to see if I should book a trip this summer (can only go in July this year... if I go) but everyone looks so young now!!!

Ahh!

Even though I thought the music was only OK, it was depressing as I was at work all day on a Sunday and was blasting the music loudly and wished I was there!!
