Space Closing: Timetable expectations?

Normally Steve Lawler is a highlight for me, last few years has played in the car park ( Flight Arena ) from 8pm - 10pm...

Carl Cox has closed the car park in previous years from 10pm - midnight too.. although will be interesting to see if he gets a later slot in the Discoteca this time given we don't have Sasha/Digweed on there this year.

Normally the lighter house DJs ( Jonathon Ulysses, Fedde le Grand ) are good warm up acts in the Sunset Terrace whilst the sunshine is still beaming through too...

I think i'll be going in the afternoon, enjoying the sunset and open air clubbing in the car park, then leave around 2/3am so can be fresh for DC10 closing on the Monday....

Not much sun gets into the sunset terrace these days lol.

I hope Carl does play a later set inside. Last time i saw him in the car park i wasn't feeling it at all. His sets just seem to suit the discoteca perfectly.

is the space closing normally less busy than the openining?

went to the space opening in 2009 and decided never again... so if its as busy as that, gonna skip it.

I've been to the opening and closing parties at space for the past 4 years. My personal experience is, that the closing are a bit more busy. Personally i think that closing parties are the best of the year!

Hmmm, still dont know what our plan will be, but I imagine we will give Space a miss.

We had two really good nights there a couple of weeks ago, so maybe do something different.

I hated the Space opening party, it was my worst Ibiza club experience ever. Never again. Too busy, too pushy and atmosphere awful.

We will see, may just save ourselves for the DC10 closing... ;)

look sophie, at space opening and closing, it's always the same problem: once the carpark closes at midnight, it gets ridiculously rammed for a while until everyone's set in one of the remaining rooms (this can take a while!). it was always like that and always wil be.

well dc10 closing is a must-do, but it will be just as packed! TBH last years dc10 closing was way beyond regarding numbers. still - great fun.

Like I said, had a great couple if nights at Space already, didst make dc10 so going to save ourselves for thatn I'm sure it will be managable. Obviously this is just the way we want to do it and im sure some people will see it right through.
Was at tge dc10 opening/closing in 09, and it was such a great time.
Apology if the writing is off, on my phone and its being wonky.
Anyhow...7 SLEEPS!!!!

Agreed...

I remember back in the day when you could use a pass out it was perfect, some people would leave after midnight to chill out outside and then drible back in over time so it never seemed to be that bad inside.
