Space closing party 03/10/04

Hi All,

Me and a mate of mine are going to san antonio for a weeks hols starting the 01/10/04 does anyone know if the last space party on Sunday 03/10/04 will be rocking, It's been 10 yrs since i was in Ibiza. What time does Space open on Subday and what time does the party go on till.

In a word, yes !

Closing is awesome, starts at 8am and finishes at 6am (poss longer !).
DJ Mag erect (oo-er !) a 3rd Arena out in the car park, Digweed, Coxy etc all play out there.

Lawler plays from about 8-10 on the Terrace and Morillo finishes.

Check the pictures from the outside arena !!!!

I was meant to be mate, but unfortunately the powers that be at Space pulled all the DJ Mag guys apart from one on the line up and replaced them with Smokin Jo and James Zabiela. This only happened last week.
Disappointing, but there's always the Opening next year !!!

Sorry to hear that, i imagine thats a right pisser on ya bonfire!!
I suppose that means you can get trolleyed tho and enjoy!

Stu...thanks for the reply, by jesus u mean to tell mean that the party starts at 08.00am on sunday and doesn't finish till 06.00am on monday. thats absolutely mad!!!!!

Any idea whats the best time to be heading to space at?

I never made it to space back in 94 but i am defo goin this time, i can't wait to get mad out of it for a couple of days and listen to the best dj's in the world rock the place

yep, 22 hours of craziness !
To be honest, with it being the final party of the season, it may stretch past 6am, but i've always been tucked up in bed well before then !!!

Best time to go is probably early afternoon, between 1 and 3, as you'll get to see the Terrace and the Outdoor Arena fill up nicely. The Terrace will be rocking by 5pm.

Sorry to hear that Stu, I was looking forward to hearing you play this year (i just missed you last year) :evil:

Daver, I can honestly say last years closing was the best Day/night I've ever had clubbing in my life :!: :!: Absolutely and utterly mindblowingly mental 8O :P
I was like a kid in a candy store, the only downer was trying to catch everyone doing their sets :!: We got there at 4pm and left at 7am ish, and i wanted it to carry on and on and on.

I was deppressed for weeks if not months when i got back, FUNKIN brilliant :!: :!: SEE YA THERE :D
 
weloveliam@space...cheers for the info, i can't wait to get going on a mad one, do u know if there are any other decent clubs or bars ( not the west end ) which are worth a visit. I have 5 more days on the island after the space closing party,

Oh yes, DC10 on Monday, opens after Space at 8am and will go on until about midnight or so !
Best time to get to DC10 is about 1pm in the afternoon. Timo Maas played at the Opening this year, alongside the residents.
The closing is legendary, will be as good as Space.
