Space Closing Fiesta

Hi guys,

I'm new to the forums but have been going to Ibiza the last few years and loving it. Will be back this year for the Closings and am just booking up my tickets - I noticed that on the Party Calendar it lists the Space Closing Fiesta as starting at 12 midday as in prior years, but I've just heard from Space PR that it will only start at 16.30 this year ( as on the Space website ). You may want to update the listing?

Is a shame but we should still get a good few hours dancing in the sunshine before sunset! Any idea why this is? It's always busy there.

Couple of quick questions about Space Closing as i have never been in Ibiza during the closing period, but considering a last minute 'f*** it' trip.

Spotlight Calendar says it starts at 4.30, will all the acts listed be spread out from 4.30pm-6am? for example, say I got to space at 12pm, am I likely to have missed Maya Jane Coles set?

Also, is it just as easy to get hold of tickets for Closing Parties as it is for any night in July. Would people advise to buy tickets online? Space closing will be the only thing I fly out there for so finding out all the tickets are gone will be a nightmare?

Hope some people can help

For Space closing buy your tickets off here. You will enter the club much quicker than tickets bought on the island.

Hi

Just been thinking ahead and watching videos of past closing parties.

Does anyone know what the plans are for the different DJ's as there are Trance and House DJ's on the same event.

Will they be playing at different times or will they be split up into different rooms?
I'm a massive fan of both House and Trance so want to catch a bit of everything.

Also last question, I know that Space open up the car park for the Opening Fiesta, do they open up the car park for the closing as well?

set times aren't out yet.
yes the car park should be open again (it always was at least for the past few years).
 
set times arent out yet but they are posted somewhere before the party? usually you can only see them when already in the club which can be too late. so this is different at the closing?
considering that the fiesta goes on well into monday noon - when is the best time to go - cant dance for twelve hours and would not want to miss a good headliner on the parkingspace :)

Are you sure it goes on well into Monday noon?

I would say it might go on till 10 or so max, but I've never seen it go past then.
Might be wrong of course as the last time I stayed till the end was when it started at 8am
 
oooh, interesting. Thought it would be standard finishing at 7am jobby.

Thinking of skipping the Space Closing, catching Luciano at Pacha and going to DC 10 on the 3rd.

This is only because, I went to Space Opening a few years ago, and I hated it. It was just too too busy. Does the Space Closing get as busy? I have seen videos on youtube and it doesn't look so bad... or is this just because its earlier?

i think liebing finshed the closing party last year at around 9 or so... although i didn't make it past 2am as i'd only left amnesia at 3pm that day.... :lol:
 
hmmm, hmmm, hmmmmmmmmm... some serious kind of planning needs to be done I think... I want to make it through to the morning on at least one occasion... but i just dont seem to have it in me anymore :roll:
 
Space closing is gonna be busy but should be ok... it's not been as bad as Amnesia closings the last few years which have just beeninsanely rammed to the point where it was like a moshpit. The music was absolutely banging, the best i've heard in Ibiza... but difficult to enjoy it when you're rammed up against people and can't even move.

So I'm doing Space closing this year :D then hitting DC10 closing the day after ;)

sounds like a good plan :)
 
I reckon im going to get into Amensia at like 6 am and stay till the arvo. Head back to the room for a nap and then rock up at space at like 8 or 9 and stay till close.

Then silently die at DC 10 lol.
 
Lol, nice plan too - you can't die on the Monday though... there'll be an all day Circo Loco after-party on the beach on the Tuesday if the last few years are anything to go by... you can silently die after that :lol:

According to the facebook event the event will finish at 12 noon monday the 3rd October. This is confirmed by a comment posted by Space as a reply : -)

Carry on DC10 i reckon : -)
 
Sat here at home after a day of pouring rain watching the closing party live online and loving watching it. Absolutely gutted I'm not there. Need to get involved next year i think.
