Space Closing 2016

I'm thinking that if there is a specific queue for people that already has tickets it will be the best fast queue I've ever seen, as fery few people has. (I DOOOO!!!!!)

I agree that the fear of not getting in will make many people arrive soon.

And with 95 DJ's all the rooms should open really soon, unless:
- the party goes for 2 days
- they make 20 mins sets

What a great party will be

My "friend" ordered two lots of tickets. Got emailed 2 lots of etickets, but only charged for one lot.

They're paranoid they are going to be turned away on the door with the two that Space never took money for.

Most current ticket holders will now very likely use them early fearing they'll re-designate the advance ticket entrance as a general one later or won't be able to queue jump. If they leave after a few hours they most likely won't be willing to queue for hours again so the maximum number of people will get the chance to go at some point.

As I see it, this online issue will mean Space will be busier much earlier on.

If it was 80% presale - 20% on the door, the 80% presale would be going in spread out between 4 and 9, probably nearer 9 to ensure they can last the lot

As it is now, say 20% presale - 80% on the door, the 80% door people will probably all be in first hour or so.

i'd be careful about that offer. we've been told by space that you can only buy tickets on the door. i don't think that's the best solution, but that's the official word.

Hope I haven't missed this in the thread already, but isn't there normally separate wusses for those with and without tickets??

I don't fancy being stuck in a humongous queue of people trying to pay at the door...

:)

there will be one queue for ticket holders and another one to buy the door. both of those queues will be well-staffed and with multiple terminals.

the online presale might not have been the best example on how to do things, but space are used to running openings and closings smoothly. james and I were in the space office earlier today and they're aware of the fact lots of people will want to get in.

Say for example 4000 were sold as tickets and I get there's different queues 'but' will the pre 9pm tickets take priority over door sales?
I'm gonna be f***ing fuming if I roll up at 7pm and get told I have to wait as it's already at capacity.
This thought wouldn't of crossed my mind had it not been for all the paranoia on this thread(thanks), but now I'm thinking I might as well get a refund and just turn up at 2-3am and pay to get in as I might be in by 7am to see it through.
The whole thing has been a joke

This is a random question but does anyone know of any luggage holds either in space or the resort, need to go the airport straight from space but would be a pain to have to go back to hotel and then to the airport

no lockers at space. but there is one in playa d'en bossa, 5-10mins walking distance...can't remember the name right now, someone help please.

olly I'm sure that you won't be queuing lots if you arrive with your ticket anytime before 9.

Cheers stivi, been very composed through this despite reading the stuff on here full of panic and it got the better of me
Need to start a roll call thread and see who's defo going :D
I don't think there's much point of making an official meeting it's gonna be packed
Once I find my little space I doubt I'll move much

Ha thats amazing. I thought it was a stupid question, if someone knows the name of the one by space, would be great thanks! I'll try Google too.

I was actually thinking more that most of the 20% won't try to use their tickets to enter after 9pm if they see huge queues and know they don't really have a leg to stand on if they're told to join one.

come on guys, honestly now, stop being so damn pessimistic. when have you been to space opening or closing last time? yeah the queues were very long for coxy closing on tuesday, but that's simply because there weren't more stations open as is the case for space opening and closing parties.

get a grip. it's going to be a unique party, something for the history books. yes it will be busy inside and yes there might be a bit of queues and waiting, but come on, berghain, watergate and hundreds of clubs around the world have queues on their busy nights. not sure what people actually expect?

rant over but this needed saying.

I said something similar about 10 pages ago now Stivi. Let's hope coming from you it sinks in haha. I think I've watched the last 2 hours of Carl Cox set 4/5 times now. Excitement levels are through the roof now. Just 9 days to go. My only problem is trying not to get smashed the night before I land at 1am Sunday. This is a problem I'm ok with though

Check out "drop and enjoy" on facebook. They're in PDB, just down from Dunes bar.

Stivi - Any insider info on what their plans are for turning up after 9pm with a pre sale ticket?
