Has anyone heard the space 2007 album yet? It was released here on Monday and the local HMV doesn't have it's three copies! Someone should tell them this is Northern Ireland in 2007.
Also, is the WLS album any good?

depending your taste. If you want a more straight forward house mix head for the Space one on Azuli; if you want more underground stuff go for WLS.
I think it's brilliant.
A bit more cerebral than simply big house/techno/minimal comps of late, and some really good tunes. Also, some really classic stuff (Yello, anyone?!) thrown in too. No massive, obvious records, but I think that's the beauty of it.
The Serge cd is more housey, (but not really big fluffy sunset terrace stuff) and Riton's is really cracking, my preferred of the two, but they're both good.
Think it craps on most 'big name' compilations by some way, and it's pretty good as they could've gone down the really fromage route, though I'd have expected more from Darren Hughes if that was the case.

I agree... great great mix. I also got today DJ Oliver's new one. CD01 is fairly good if you want more Electro Big Room stuff. Very dissapointend by Azuli this year; if you like the Azuli stuff Pure Pacha has a better tracklisting IMO.
Got Azuli CD yesterday - bit disappointed, a load of tracks that are already on Azuli compilations, a few new ones but not much thats that great!
Usually buy it for the DVD and heres the rub! You can download the DVDs videos from the space website so nothing new!
The only reason we buy stuff is to have something new, so we expect! Sadly in this case expection was too high, a lesson learned!
If you want electro divino house buy the CD, if you want some new stuff buy wls.
IMO azuli always had it right, but using last years tracks is wrong, in the wrong sense!!
BTW lets hope ths political crap with the clubs gets sorted soon, its a short season and none of them can afford to lose the money if they want to be open next year! dont let the few spoil it for the rest! Its about the music, isnit it?
