zoo project music policy

Have always wanted to go to zoo project for the experience. I like hard house, balearic house, funky house, tech house, deep house but am not wild about minimal. Should I avoid zoo?
 
Regardless of the music (even though from what you said you like, you will love it) you should still do the Zoo Project as its preety much like nothing you will experience anywhere else, so definately do it :D

You won't get any of that at Zoo Project, it's got more of an underground sound - definitely worth going to, it's a different experience to the clubs. There isn't anywhere else that's like it.

Hi DirtyO!

In general on Saturdays the music is mainly Tech House, sometimes a little funky, sometimes a little harder, it depends on who is playing.. Each week the lineups will be posted here, so you could suss it out before you decide to head down ;)

I think you should definitely check out our Wednesday parties though! - Channel Zoo - The music encompasses all types of House music, generally staying on the funky and deep side :)

What is the difference between chanel zoo on wednesdays? Last time I went on a wed in 09 I thought it was just zoo project did I miss something or has it changed? And is he music as good? Prices of drinks to please? I remember it being quite reasonable compared to space and amnesia but I expect they will of pushed them up a bit now??

I wouldnt be able to help you with regards between the difference between the 2 as i only went to Channel Zoo but i enjoyed it anyway :D

If i remember correctly the drinks were about 9 euros each, thats for a spirit and mixer....so i ended up sneeking in a few shots at 3 euro a pop ;)
 
How did you do that we were searched last time :?
Also seen now we arent allowed to take pics in there, had a rant at them on facebook about this and their excuse is "we want everyone to enjoy their experience" what a load of ****, put me off going big time. Got some great pics from last time, how can they even take a camera off you or refuse entry for carrying one? Pathetic :roll:

channel zoo is more about the music and i think it has a better crowd although the crowd is smaller and things dont pick up till its getting dark.

the bonus with the zoo project on sat is that its in full flight during daylight hours although the crowd doesnt seem as good, ie theyr not there for the music just there to get blind drunk, check out youtube videos.

wen i was at channel zoo year before last it was 5euro a beer, and pitchers of coctails/sangria wer good value too, but its probably dearer now.

im definatley going to channel zoo again this year instead of zoo project, seal pitt aside i thot it was brilliant.

Hello!

Channel Zoo showcases evolving artists and new talent. From one week to the next the musical direction can change quiet a lot ranging from Deep House to Techno. Whereas on Saturdays the main focus is on the Zoo Project artists who all had a hand in building The Zoo Project from scratch.


The drink prices are still much more reasonable than in comparison to other events in Ibiza ;)
