Is anyone going to this on Clapham Common on 27th August? Just wondering what people's expectations are and whether they've put on this mini festival thing before.

We went last year, it was pretty good, sound was a bit shit on the outside stage so hopefully they sort that out for this year. Also it was quite civilised in the day, lots of people just milling around having a few drinks whereas we had seen it as an opportunity for an all day bender :lol:

I'd got again tho cos it's so handy if you live in London Town and the line-up is pretty damn good, it's an early finish tho so you'll probably want to head to a club after.
 
We were originally going to Creamfields but seeing as half of us live in Laaahnden now we've gone for this instead for a change. What time does it finish? I assume from your reply it's not quite an all night pillathon a la Creamfields?

No it's a ridiculously early finish about 10pm, it kicks off at midday tho so just get there early to get the full day sesh in. There'll be loads of afterparties going on in London Town tho to satisfy your clubbing fix ;)

It's not Creamfields or Homelands or Global but it is good for a mini festival on your doorstep without having to trek half way across the country the day after 8O
 
I'm going. Wickid line up. Should be a good day.

Shame about the early finish but there will be stuff to do afterwards.
 
like mentioned the main outdoor stage had a poor system last year, the tents however were loud enough, and this year the tents have a really good line up...

really good line-up imo, should be a really good day
 
was there last year and it was okay, but not great..the sound on the main arena with sasha playing was poo, but the sound in the bora bora tent was spot-on...if they sort the system out, should be a stonking day

we're having an after-party on a boat on the thames at battersea with roof garden etc ,(5 mins in a taxi) private-party, free-entry, but all spotlighters would be welcome.....music will be soul, disco at the start of the night , moving through to jackin emotive house music..

Im going looks like a excellent line up. I have also go tickets to the Get Loaded thing on the Sun as well.

So I might not get home till Monday if im lucky 8O

Us too :D I think it's Derrick Carter @ Ministry that night as well so going to aim for the triple header and then Carnival 8O :lol:

Don't quote me on that for definite but I'm sure a few weeks ago I was in Ministry moaning to Phil for getting Delboy when I'm in Ibiza and I'm pretty sure he said next appearance for him is August Bank Holiday wkend.

As I said don't quote me on that cos I think I was a bit 8O 8O 8O so I could easily have imagined it :lol:

Cool that sounds like a plan! Might have to go to Ministry for some afters. Not too fussed about the Carnival but if you see me wandering around Notting Hill in the same clothes you saw me in on Saturday try and point me in the direction of Essex 8O :D

You can't not do Carnival on the Monday with Sancho Panzo and Good Times, may as well aim for the quadruple header :lol: ;)

In addition, and in the best traditions of Space itself, Easyjet have been given the go-ahead to alter their flight-paths for their Luton-Ibiza flights so that they go over the festival, recreating the famous rooftop terrace at Space where all arriving flights to Ibiza are cheered in by hordes of clubbers below.
