(some) people on here .......

As I posted to Mambs earlier the 'Hold The Front Page' post yesterday encouraged us all to laugh at each other's expense but as most people were ribbed, surely no-one could be offended?

I found that post very healthy, most of us started laughing about ourselfes
and I didn't find a harmfull comment. Actually everything was true ;)

Of course my opinion it's not that important cos due my english limits I usually loose a % of the real meaning

Didn't intend stirring up a hornets nest - just making reference to recent observations.

P.S. I also thought 'Hold The Front Page' thread was good. IN fact i'm still trying to think of more to add.

The waiting you refer to is called 'work' i.e. 30 min+ telephone conversations etc.

And of course after your meeting you first answer is to Becki with lots of rolling eyes....

Honestly, Drew, I did't want to cause any controversy, but your answer to me was, in my opinion, a bit rude or a provocation. If you answer with a "Oh, rudeness it's not a bad thing" don't expect me to clap hands or make a laugh... I'm very predictable and I think you should know it, that's why I think it's a provocation.

If you look at Becki's post it ends with  and suggests i am perhaps criticising others for something i may be guilty of myself, but then i remembered that she makes a dig at me at any given opportunity. Anyway, enough of her, she is of no importance to me whatsoever.

On a similar note (as i said earlier) i tried to lighten the conversation by saying "i never said (rudeness/arrogance) was a bad thing" and ended with a  to illustrate that. I suppose it was a poor example of sarcasm, but unlike some i don't find much time to think up the queen's best English.

Mikkak - i was simply enquiring as to whether any other people found some people on the board acting a little out of character. A simple question which has been turned into some boooooring debate.

OK, it's scorching hot outside so let's just all try and be happy and enjoy the last moment of summer.

I'm not saying anything about Becki cos it's not my thing but it's a bit of a deja vu.
Can you please explain what do you mean about the Queen of English, please? I don't understand the meaning so I can't say a word. And I think it's about me but I'm not sure

Again Drew, you know sarcasm it's the best way to wind me up (is that the expression?), actually I think you are the one who should know it better. What I'm trying to say is don't go suprised if I answer your sarcasm without a laugh. I don't think it's so difficult to understand. I can accept lots ot things but as we say in spanish I'm not programmed to cope with sarcasm, call me limited if you want ;)

:?

Not really... everyone is arguing as per usual.

What is so out of character about that?

In fact i'd say of what I've read today everyone is perfectly on form and nothing changes at all.

I'm bored of this forum. It's excellent to read all of the reviews and up to the minute information but the way people are with each other on here has got tedious and captures as much of the atmosphere of our beloved island as a damp grey monday in London.

Hoping you all have a good winter, good bye from me for this year 8)
