I'm going to San an on July 17th next month, and I was wondering if this is still gunna be big over there this year aswell?, because its a TUNE.
 
Id be very suprised to hear it anywhere aside from Hed Kandi like mat says.

Personally i think the original is an absolute classic bit of vocal house, pure beach heaven, but the dreadful Grant Nelson remix that everyone associates with it now is just so so bad, ruined the whole vibe of the track and if i were Solu music id be livid.

It just killed the track completely and i hate it.

Mind you, i was over there last week, and a couple of mates went to twice as nice at es paradis on a thursday night, and they said although it was pony artful-dodger garage all night, right at the end they played a few 'mainstream' house tracks - Precious Love, etc, and they did include Fade, so you may be lucky...

I rekcon youll only hear it in the bars myself, try Plastik in San An, or the jazzy ones in Eivissa
 
WHY!!!

The Grant Nelson remix was an absolute disgrace. The original never needed mixing, it was never gonna be big room house, but it wasnt intended to be!
 
I remember when i first heard that track. It was a few years ago now, in my mate's car driving from Las Salinas to Es Vedra, he's a dancer at La Troya. He told me how the song reminded him of his ex. In turn it reminded me of the fantastic day we had, especially as he kept playing it.

I acquired a copy and used to listen to it now and again with the missus when we were remembering times we had in Ibiza.

That remix makes the track sound like it's been buggered by an alsatian. What a terrible thing to do to a lovely tune.

I like the rewind mix of the original, but all the original mixes sound like chillout to me, definitely something for 5 or 6 in the morning, and I aint knocking that still, but I like the Grant Nelson version, it's more upbeat, I dunno why everyone hates it so much man.. :roll:
 
Toms I completly agree!

The original was a HANDS OFF track totally perfect heard it 3 years ago first time and now ruined thanks to ministry of Sound/S**T
 
Undoubtedly the Grant Nelson Big Room Vocal is the best of all Fade mixes. And you will hear it many places in ibiza. Ive heard it all over the UK including Pacha London, Koko Camden and Area Watford to name a few. Big Tune. Big Mix.

Got to agree with u toms. The original is a classic but I doubt it will be played this summer in the clubs.

It reminds me of lying at the pool just chillin' to be honest

And whadda you reckon to area? i live in sunny hemel you see so get over there quite alot as its the closest bit of house around the area...
 
It's old and the better version was the original chilled out Hed Kandi mix.

Heard it first in a girls car a year ago before noshing her. :twisted:
