Solomun at circoloco

This has got to deserve its own thread surely ! Anyway has solomun ever played dc10 before ? I'm out there from Sunday and feel like I've just won the lottery !

I think it's a pretty odd booking tbh!

but clever of them to book it right for cocoon closing date...

Was hoping it wasn't gonna be too busy but looks like it could be rammo.
Can I ask in what way you think it's odd ?

it's just a booking I honestly didn't expect.
Same here I was half expecting Martinez brothers as the headline , but when I see Seth headlining I was well chuffed then I looked further down and I pissed my pants !
Well maybe just a little dribble .

All 3 for me hopefully . What's a wise time to leave dc10 for cocoon closing if I purchase a ticket before hand and for hassle free entry to amnesia

So around 3am to busy and or to early ? What's the normal cocoon closing time from past closing fiestas ? Can we expect anywhere near noon ?

Circo Loco for a few hours then onto Cocoon closing has gotta be just about the best 24 hours you can have on The Island. Gutted to be missing this one...

quick question - I've never been to DC-10 before so i was wondering if i should be looking to buy the tix on ra or at the door. i saw stivi mentioning before that there is no price difference but i was more thinking about waiting in line/the possibility of it selling out (is that even possible in late September?) and lastly, what time would people recommend going for? since Solomon is playing should i be getting there a bit early to enjoy some space before it becomes rammed. thanks in advance

you can easily buy at the door as long as you don't only arrive at 11pm.

my advice is, get there for 7/8pm and buy your ticket at the door.

check the circoloco facebook page on sunday night for settimes for monday.

I just find any event which is guaranteed to be far too busy a turn off. If it was a gig in the UK it would sell out as soon as tickets were released but at least I know there would be safe limits and room to dance. That is why I don't get everyone's fascination with opening and closing parties.

Last year really didn't find the crowds bad at all. Was expecting chaos at Amnesia, but actually my concerns were completely unfounded. I found plenty of space on the terrace.

Same with Space. Although admittedly we arrived late (4-5am on the Monday) it was just perfectly busy. The busiest by far was Ushuaia - no surprises there. Never been when it hasn't been horribly rammed! and Pacha for Insane closing was also bit packed-in earlier in the night but soon levelled out.

Circoloco was the exception. But we expected this. We were warned. We ignored said warnings. Lesson learned. Never again.

I certainly think that dancefloors are more polite and considerate of their fellow clubber at this time of year.
