Does anyone on here work in Finance or knows about Bank Charges...

My mate sent me this link about being able to claim back charges your bank makes to you for going overdrawn a small amount but being charges a stupid amount.

I dont think you can, because everything you agree to with your bank is in your T & C's ...... She is convinced you can....

You can but it's quite a long and ardous process. The last guy I heard of doing it actually had to take the bank to court. He had about £3000 in bank charges though. I guess it depends how much you have been charged in the past. I used to get overdraft charges of £30 loads, now I am just extra careful and haven't been charged in ages

It is well worth doing - colleagues with history of bank charges have done this and were refunded. It's not the arduous legal process that you might expect either

Hmmm colleague hasnt mentioned how much she has been charged in the past, but I am assuming its quite a substantial amount - she registered on the site and has been reading some of the personal stories from the guys on the forum so will pass on your comments......
