so.. how was the-retreat/the-loveboat/turnmills then?

Fab night :D

Really nice pre-club set up you've got going there Buckley, thought Stu was great and then saw a bit of Alex. Would have liked to stay longer but knew we had to go and brave Turnmills.

I'm not a big Deep Dish fan, everytime I've seen them before they've never really done it for me but Tom loves them so I was being the good g/friend and going along

Stu was excellent in Room 2, he is the man :D

Didn't have high hopes for Deep Dish but they absolutely blew me away, played for 6 hours and we didn't leave the dancefloor once, one of the best sets I've heard in ages.

The only complaint of the night was how stupidly rammed Turnmills was  Think Cream @ Amnesia but worse

And the crowd as well  One of the worse crowds I've ever seen in a London club, full of tourists on the pull  I was like 'Hello, it's Deep Dish, if you want to pull go to the Hippodrome'

Rant over :P

Aye Turnmills was a bit bloody busy wasn't it?! Only stayed down there for about 10 minutes, stayed in Anexo for most of my time in the club.

Boat party was cool. System was a bit of a joke but I think we all worked round it and it was a success.

Top set from Mark (and Anil if yr on here), sorry I didnlt get much of a chance to chat to ya!

Who made it down? How'd the night go buckley?

Them cd decks any good stu? :)

The Retreat was good, I didn't maker it any further than that because in the style of Rowley Birkin QC, I was very, very drunk!

Honourable mentions for Babs and Tom for making it down early (before me in fact  ) to support Stu. Bar was fairly empty at that time of the evening, but Stu was quality all the same (as expected). Stu Hirst plays the Streets - didn't get that at Turnmills, eh folks? Dropped him and Neilly (nice to meet ya mate) down to said establishment and headed back to find Alex G slowing pitching things up a bit. Dance floor was pretty busy as Alex headed off to the Cross and Dempsey (partly assisted by me, but not very much -see previous comments regarding inebriation!)
hit the decks. Come 11.30 we were rammed and shapes were being thrown all over the place. Jon Arthur finished off in style and I headed for a very drunken sleep/coma.

Big thanks to Stu, Alex, Dempsey and Jonny - all on top form as ever!

I'm reliably informed that Turnmills was crammed to bursting point.......................

Having had a booze only weekend and having scored the winner from 25yds in a 5-4 1/4 final win (in the last minute of extra time!), along with no longer having the hassle of that obstructive twat I sacked on Friday, today I am a happy man. :D

Thanks for inviting me down to play Buckley. Good to meet up with a few more people off here again and it was a good warm-up to get me in the mood for the madness that was Wally Lopez at Ministry later on.

Turnmills was good, although room 2 didn't have the new Technics.
Retreat was a cool little place - thanks again for the lift Buckley !

Left Turnmills at 12:30 to get along to The Cross for Type, which was rammed as well.

Understatement of the year!

I got there at 2am, with only 15-20 people in the queue. I didn't get in til 3!

Was superb music in there tho.

Good to see you again Stu, and it seemed your tune got a pretty good reception!

Nice to meet you Allie - and likewise enjoyed your set! Never played a club gig on a mixer without channel gains or decent EQs, but we had loads of fun anyway!

Looks like fun was had by all then :)
Good to hear all went well buckley, u deserve it after the week u've had to put up with!

Shame you didnt get to dabble with the new decks though stu, the pikey bastards!

Good to meet you again mate, despite me not being in the best of states !

It was good to hear the track loud in the main room, i've spent so much time on that dancefloor over the last 3 years !

They really are on fine form, they've been amazing since Tribal Warehouse in August.
