Snowboarding

I am, I can board and ski but actually prefer skiing :D

A mates working in Avoriaz this year, so a big group of us are going to go out in March :P

Despite living 10 minutes from Britains best artifical slopes, i must admit i've never indulged (fear of breaking bones).

P.S. You'll proably bump into (literally :lol:) my brother at Laax at new year.

When I lived in Kazakhstan I used to ski there. Almaty is at the foothills of a huge mountain range. I could wake up at 12 on a Saturday and be on the ski lift by 1. It was great.
 
I've been over to Park City in Utah a few years ago, great skiing conditions :P

Apart from that, have been to France for about the past 8 years :P
 
I need to do a Swiss or French or Austrian ski trip... not sure why I haven't yet considering it's not all that expensive. Half of Moscow goes to Courchevel every year for the New Years holiday break :?

In the States, I've only been to Seven Springs, Pennsylvania and Okemo, Vermont.
 
I was right beside Courchevel last year in Meribel, lovely place :P

Think we may go to Couchevel this year if we dont end up meeting our mate over there 8)
 
There's a nightclub there that does a very popular Russian night. You should go for a laugh :lol:

Also, notice that all the luxury goods shops will be packed with merchanside. They make huge amounts of $$ off visiting Muscovites.
 
Courchevel is lovely, but very very expensive...thats what put us off as students :lol: Did alot of our skiing over that way though.

Want to go now after chatting about it :P

Been going to Meribel for the last 4 years. The cactus is run by a nice fella called Stuart who comes from the same town as me ;) 8)
 
I have never been skiing before, but LOOOOOOVE snowboarding!! Looking forward to travelling to Boise, Idaho for Christmas time (where the fam lives), when the gorgeous Bogus Basin is bound to be fluffy white :P :P :P

Haven't been in on the slopes in about three years so it should be quite hilarious lol. Always a horrid sight: Me trying to amble my way off the lift with a few beers in me hahahaha.

I've been snowboarding for 10 years now and absolutely love doing it!

Won't be going this winter tho.... :cry:
