When my friend gave up he counted the number of Saturdays since he had his last ciggie and not the individual days...
He saw each weekend as the real test and 3 weekends is a lower number than 21 days so he couldn't "convince" himself that he had done really well and could sneak just one!

have you been sneaking in my kitchen mister I went to get a bottle of pink the other night, and Paul glared at me and said "are you sure?" in a stern tone, so I popped it back in the cupboard, and its still sitting there, all lonely with no one to drink it

Why wish you luck? Smoke more, so you'll die younger and leave more Socal Security (or the UK's equivalent) money! Us younger people are sick of watching out for the old fogies, get up and die allready! Our societies run on the constant that people are gonna die sometime. If you quit, WHO KNOWS when you're gonna die? With modern technology, you could live to be 1,500 like Dick Clark. Plus, look of the other benifits of smoking, such as leaving a younger, better-looking corpse and the fact that many men find a wet, hacking cough and dry, smelly hair sexy.
If you don't smoke, who is going to pay Pedro and all the other poor tobacco farmers their slave wages? If they don't make money... Sorry, Pedro's kids are gonna be turning tricks faster than you can say "How much for a afternoon quickie?" Please, think of Pedro's kids. His daughters don't need to grow up that fast.
If everybody stops smoking all at once, Hospitals would go out of buisness because everybody would be so... healthy. Just think of it- you get into a car accident and all your bones flew out of your body. Now you need to get your bones put back under your skin where they belong, but since everybody is so healthy, the hospitals lost all their money and closed their doors. Now what are you gonna do? Keep your right femur on the mantle until you can find someone to put it back in for you?
Now that you see the catrastrophic results to your decision to quit smoking, I hope you rethink your choices
