Most clubs have made allowances for you to go outside, altho some of them are so small there have been queues forming just to have a fag - personally I wouldn't be bothered.

ibiza has not really changed with smoking ban.like mainland spain.it is up to the place on what they do.ie non or smoking.they cannot change unless they change ownership.uk took the eu law over the top.
in benidorm some bars/clubs.just have a few seats thats non smoking.some hotels in ben/and ibiza are non smoking apart from room or a room set aside.like the old card room.some hotels in ben you can still smoke in main room.just one side where windows are.

well new laws did come in , but a lot of confusion..public places likes banks, shops , hairdressers ect now are no smoking.. but restaurants over a certain size have to have a designated smoking area!!..THE HARDEST THING IS BUYING CIGERETTES..the only place allowed to sell cigarettes is the government run tobacconists. and a few bars & restaurants that have a cigerette machine.
we have got one !!!!! some people say the have walked miles trying to buy a packet in the evevnings..

We had no problem buying boxes of 200 in the bay area and in the supermarkets on Avnda Dr Fleming - the shop in the Bay which we used is by the Tres Palmyras restaurant you need to take your passport to buy them

errr yes - I can tell the difference between a small supermarket (sells food and drink, magazines, inflatable beach toys???) and a tobacconist (sells cigs, cigars, tobacco and other smoking paraphenalia??)
