On the subject.. why do Lucky's taste different wherever you are ... like in Spain they taste sh*t compared to home..

Do they use such a different blend of tobacco that it actually influences the taste?

Yes. The tobacco companies, specifically the multinationals, usually have a mix of international and local brands in each market. The international brands are not necessarily uniform - often times they will alter the tobacco blend based on local tastes. This is usually after the market is developed (initially, they import the international brands, then slowly develop local production with imported tobaccos and a localized blend)
