spanish talkshows are beyond abysmal and buenafuente is no exception (sad really as he was considered quite cutting edge when he was on catalan tv)
aside from the football and the porn, the only late night show I enjoyed living there was 'cronicas marcianas' on telecinco - when you would have lively political debates between fascists, priests and transvestites and stuff but even then you wouldn't hear too much amidst all the screaming and finger pointing.

I wore a Gnr t shirt to the Ivy in London's west end. they looked at me like i'd pooped on the carpet.

What type of gaff is "Ivy" ? I would be going up the wall if that happended to me.
Was it a skinny fit teesh ? or an oversized style in true rocker bad taste?

on a related note, when at the fat duck my mate missed the fois gras as he was skining up in the ladies loo. of which there is one. i went looking for him to see him exit, past a ladies queue of 5, with said j behind ear.
