Sil, we learnt about greetings in our Spanish class last night and I said to the teacher "Holins" as I know you've said that to me sometimes, and she said that wasn't used as a greeting Is it just a word you made up your self lol?

I took lots of notes for you, Yolima asked where you were and I said you had gone to see Take That, she didn't look too impressed lol. I had to hang around with my other student buddies last night!
You can also add this to your vocabulary:

"Yo tengo trienta anos"

which means "I am thirty"

Now I know that cuanto means "how" doesn't it?

Some silly old bat in our class who wants to move to Spain but is the worse Spanish pupil EVER Our teacher speaks only in Spanish and the rest of us kind of understand what she's asking us (pregunta ) but Gill takes AGES to work it out and she never grasps the language

I've got one like that in my class - she's called Mavis. The teacher tries to get her to repeat after her: "Me...llamo...Mavis..." and she just goes "Blah blee bluu".
