I won't be able to make that one as I'll be going to a boat party on the sunday here in Oxford which is always super duper duper duper and I must be fresh for!

I went for the ibook as it's all I really need and I love it to bits. Plus I got it for only £500 from the Apple Refurbished store. 8)

i concour with most of the advice above, esp that about having reservtions about getting a G5 right now

i have a version 1.1 of the original imac. no end of problems.

i have a version 1.1 of the original ipod. no end of problems.

i am no longer an 'early adopter' and would always wait for version 1.xx to iron out wrinkles.

also: ive got a white ibook but would recommend black as they get VERY dirty!!
