Shooooeeesss.....

Bloody hell - although you are quite tall arent you, whereas I am a bit of a short arse and always need height - wedges today 3"

Even when I did kick boxing/Thai Boxing in barefeet, I had to do lots of my movements on tippy toes because I cant walk around properly in flats....-:?

Yay I'm 5ft 8 so I spose if I was shorter I'd be more inclined to wear heels. I think your legs just get used to flats or heels so when you change to the other your calves get funked

I did buy some ridiculous wedges for summer and Tom knowing how accident prone I am was like 'wtf are you planning on wearing them??' 8O

I never wear heels either. I dont even wear wedges! The highest heel I'll wear is about a 2incher (and that is only on very girly nights out!). I'm about 5'7 so I dont even look like a lithe, tall gazelle in heels, I just look like a big old carthorse clumping about

Well I am only 5' 6" (just) so I need the extra height - and yes Phil looks at me and shakes his head with my history of accidents and stretched ligaments in the ankle area, however, I do like to point out that those accidents did happen in flat shoes/trainers and not heels.....!!!

Becki - you get used to walking in a laydee like way in heels - honest!!!

Babs - Its how I feel when wearing heels! Like the grounf thunders beneath me pmsl. I'd much rather shuffle along in a pair of flats ;)

Pups - 5'6 is ok?! I thought you were about 4 foot or something when you said you were small!

I wanted some semi-girly shoes for this summer too but couldnt find a damn thing I liked or could infact walk in!
So I´ve just resorted back to the good old havaianas!

www.havaianas.com

...their great....you can get them in every colour for every outfit.....!

...and they are dead comfy!

The funny thing is, I remember when I was about 5 years old and my mum used to make me wear those rubber flip flops that gave you a bitch of a blister.....HOWEVER.....I´ve never found ANYTHING as comfy as Havaianas now!:D

As for Birkenstocks....I´m only a size 35/36 and it looks like I´m wearing clown shoes so I cant buy those!:x

its an ok height but I like to look very tall - and of course, when standing next to 6' hubby and I have no shoes on I look like a friggin hobbit...

Ideal height for me would have to be around 5' 9" - 5' 10" - perfect!!

I'm only 5"3:evil: so need a bit of a heel!! :D

My sis is 5' 2", Mum is currently shrinking as she gets on and is 4' 11" and Dad is a massive 5' 4" - so really I am a giant in comparison with my ickle family... Maybe the milkman was a tad taller ;)

Mine's the exact opposite, she's always running about in these massive heels or wedges without a care in the world  I felt like our mum last time she was in FLT coming clubbing with us cos I was saying 'Lou I really don't think you should wear those heels, Turnmills is a long nights clubbing for you, haven't you got any flats??!'

It's official, I'm old and sensible

Spooky- so is mine. She doesn't often fall off shoes though cause her feet are so small she has to get kids shoes

She really should move onto other "going out" things..... I am sure she would be safer in the long run (...... but then I remember Barbie and myself and our catalogue of accidents/disasters whilst under the influence, so maybe not....8O )

In terms of boy shoes I'm totally in love with Acupuncture.

Fantastic.

As for the ladies , well - its no contest.

It just has to be lace up ankle boots for the beach, club, bedroom, hill walking, parachuting, gym etc regardless of temperature, location or whatever . . . . ahem, I've been accused of having some sort of fetish before now but really can't see why I give that impression :)
