of course there are sharks in the med - it's just not so common to see them

I was just meaning what Stivi said, it's not common to see them so close to the beach in the med, love freaking the bf out haha

If that's the way your gonna go (eaten by a shark whilst on holiday in the balaerics) then that's the way your gonna go in my opinion :)

There will not be many around in a few weeks when "Fin season" opens, Sadly most are caught by the bigger fishing vessels and the fin's get shipped of to China for soup,(Great White along with Whale Shark being the highest prized) But I think you can get steaks in some of the more exclusive restaurants ?

That headline is tabloid scaremongering at its absolute most cretinous "SUSPECTED SHARK SPOTTED JUST FEET AWAY FROM TOURISTS"

... the tourists who are firmly on dry land. :spank:

I'd love to see one - but not too close up, thank you!

I understand the beach waters are too warm for sharks in summer and they keep to deeper water, but I'm no expert at all. Someone into fishy things might confirm/deny.
