Has anyone been looking at booking flights in September?
They are ridiculously expensive at the moment, more so tham ever before!

Anyone know why this is, and if they will drop down?

I know what you mean, crazy prices! I have manged to find some more reasonable dates with easyjet but the later in sept you leave it the more expensive it gets. A return flight to gatwick is nearly £200 in late sept.

Im lookin in September aswell and Ryan Air seem to be the cheapest however i am looking at the start of September 8)

We fly out on 29th Sept from Leeds Bradford (with Jet2) and fly back to East Midlands on 4th Oct (with Ryanair) at a total cost of around £104.

Flying back to East Midlands was not an ideal return airport as its about 2.5 hours drive from where we live but a small price to pay to get to make a visit to Ibiza.

Flights back to our closet airports Teesside/Leeds/Newcastle were pretty non existent!

I managed to get 2 x return from Liverpool for £270 inc 1 hold bag. 13 to 22nd Sep, both basically midday flights too.

It helps if you can be flexible and go for an odd number of days, you will often find a cheap flight but the return 7 or 14 days later is very expensive as most people holiday for 7 or 14 nights.

Try skyscanner (search on google)

We fly out 29th sept leeds and bradford return manchester 04th oct. all for £92. both with ryanair.
Also, stayin in jet appts for 5 nights for an unbelivable £35!! booked through travelrepublic.

Ryanair from Bournemouth was £149 each for us, and that's with us only taking 1 suitcase between 2 of us. £50 per item of checked luggage is a joke
