Sept 17th - 27th 2017, PDB

"I don't usually do this" but looks like I might end up solo this time. I'll be there Sept 20-30, from New York.

Centering the party schedule around the Thursday Afterlife parties, the Saga closing party, the cacoon party with raresh and villlobos and music on with carl cox...

I haven't seen many people posting about those parties on here but I guess all the other ones in between maybe would be cool to run around w new friends lol esp the crazy ones like elrow or something. (Ditto for hitting up after parties... I def wouldn't want to go to those alone just for safety reasons, never know).

Or if anyone is going as a group up north to the beaches, that would be cool also and cheaper to split the taxi.
 
Should say this year's trip is hanging in the balance due to family issues. :( Most likely going to cancel, but I have until next weekend to decide...

Yeah, it's unfortunate. Was looking forward to meeting old friends and making new ones, but last couple of months have been a bit sh!t and my responsibilities have changed. I could probably still go but I don't think I'd be in the frame of mind to enjoy it properly and any comedown from indulgence would be magnified. :eek: But should be making final decision next weekend - cut off date for free hotel cancellation!

Bit put off by the dress code for Heart! I'd actually need to think to bring trousers. (Dunno why cargo shorts won't do. :rolleyes: ) But I adore Todd Terje's first album, so should definitely keep it on my radar.
 
i ve been to heart 4-5 times along opening n august,they only piss me off with my blue marlin sea bag; so i went back to the car and bring a beach bag
its true a lot of guys in trousers and long shirt such as penguins, always put a smile on my face :lol:
if u want to dress up, be my guest but in heart club its an oven there:eek:

We went to Heart in early June. You can go for the whole experience, or just arrive for the club after the dinner & show.

The dinner & show is a collaboration between the Adria Brothers and Cirque de Soleil. The food part was 32 courses of experimental dishes between the pre dinner cocktail bit and the show. The show is amazing, especially if you get good table. It's not cheap but we wanted to experience the Adria Brothers food.

The night we were there wasn't good for the club. We thought it would be better. There were no named DJs playing and the music was mostly disco & soul. I'm fine with that but it felt like a wedding party - maybe we just chose the wrong night. Nobody was partying hard there that night. ;)
We left sometime after 2am as we'd been up for nearly 24 hours straight at that stage. Maybe it's a different story on different nights especially when they're advertising big names.
