Saturday In Sunderland

unfortunately you arent going to find anywhere good in sunderland clubbing wise really, the two main clubs are called liquid and beach, both play similar cheesy music, depends if you like that sort of thing, if so it is good. there are a couple of half decent bars if you like and i use the term broadly, "house music", such as Pravda or Pure. i know you said dont say it but if you get the chance go to newcastle, sorry!

Go to The White Room for Ward10 sessions.
They do weekly nights there and monthly ones with big guests (toward the deeper side of House). Recently guests have included Miles Holloway, Justin Long, Eddie Leader and Random Factor.

Thanks for the suggestions, Ive been to Newcastle quite a bit, so probably just stay in Sunderland to see what thats like, plus going the Sunderland Norwich game , so will be on something of an all day session , so by the time it comes to make a decision we will probably be lacking sensible thought

Go Substance then Pure, then Chase, then White Rooms
Pure (near park lane) they have good residents and guests on a Friday and Saturday. Range from funky old school , House, Etc.
Chase is kinda cheesy but breaks up the walk to the White Rooms, which is pretty groovy.
But Alan's right, Newcastle is worth the short metro ride next time you're up.
Didnt know there were other sunderland geezers on the board.

Thanx for the info Mark may well follow your advice! Your right bout Newcastle , been out there several times and never had a bad night! Cheesy in places but some mite say so am I

Prob gonna stay in Sunderland cos thats where were staying - just hope the "Black Cats" win to get everyone in a better mood up there
