Hey,
We've ibiza newbies and we land at 10.30pm on a Sat niht, staying in San An - any recommendations on where to go Sat night, what will still be open in San An? I've seen Mon Cheri @ Es Paradis but wondered what else would be going on by about midnight? Are other bars/clubs open?
Thanks

Perfect arrival time to head straight off to a club. Check into hotel, have a few drinks along the front, Ibiza Rocks maybe...bag some tickets and head to Elrow @ Amnesia. Mind blown.

OK cool, thanks, that was my thinking but had thought of staying San An as doing Hi on Sunday & Ushuaia on Monday lol

If landing about 10.30, what time do you reckon to get to San An? About midnight?

Yeah. You can shave half an hour off if you are taking a carry-on bag. Then depends on the length of the queue for taxis as Eclipse said. If you sail straight through the airport without having to wait for a suitcase, you should be at the front of the queue.

That would be my tip, try not to take a hold bag if you can help it...can easily be in your hotel 1 hour after touching down

If you're not going to one of the larger clubs, and don't want to ruin the holiday by being totally wasted newbies on the first night, then there are several possibilities in San An. I seem to remember visiting a couple of mid-range discos (if you are sufficiently intoxicated) in the western part of the West End a month ago. They were packed even then. There are also numerous decent bars and stuff along the beach front in the direction of the Bay. Some are quiet, others more lively, but all rather expensive.

Depending on your age, you might want to experience the West End before it's gone for good. Obviously you'll be hitting town sober whilst everyone else has been drinking for hours. I'm not sure exactly how packed it is these days. There probably aren't many people on this site who admit going there.
