I've been absolutely caining Invol<3r and will be away when he plays Leeds on my birthday weekend. Was massively excited to hear this news yesterday. My only concern is with it being free is how is it going to work with getting in as surely more people will want to go than capacity?? Anyway hopefully will be seeing him twice over there in September. That would make me a very happy girl!

That is where security come into play and say no more people once it reaches capacity after people have formed an orderly queue....
Sasha was doing free parties at the Ushuiaia beach bar which I attended and it was not over capacity at peak season, and also at Grial last year. And he has been around forever. So if Ushuiaia becomes too full this will speak volumes to me (scenesters)

Sasha has had his own night in space sharing with viva (sasha in the discoteca) and steve lawyer (terraza) on thursday in 2005 but wasn't very successful and back then there were much less party so not sure he will take the risk again of having his own night in one of the super-club especially with the huge competition of this year. I guess he will do 3-4 special party like last year .What i know is in every interview he made the past few years he always said that he loved it so much playing in the old ushuaia on the beach on when moving to the new ushuaia he couldn't play the same music and was just about delivering and he was sad about it so maybe back on the beach but where???

The night Sasha started with Lawler actually first came to fruition at the now defunct club The Guvernment in Toronto, Canada earlier that same summer. Lawler and Sasha were booked for the main room, where I think Sasha went first, then Lawler, then Sasha again. Lawler was then scheduled to play on the rooftop open bar part of Guvernment where Sasha unexpectantly joined him! I was irritated that I missed this, as I called it quits after Sasha's mainroom set. They played until 9 AM'ish or so until the cops came inside the venue and shut the party down. One of the cops even got in Sasha's face and told him to get off the stage to which Sasha just responded to by just laughing in his face LOL.
I hope to see him for my first time trip to Ibiza in June, as it was his Global Underground 13: Ibiza retrospective mix that got me into the underground side of the scene!

Thats GU13 mix goes down in history as a classic! Weirdly I was just listening to that yesterday driving to work! never gets old!
it is up there with the best mixes ever recorded in my view.
