After tearing a hole in the intimate and underground Deep Blue venue (SE1), it only seems appropriate that we invite the Just The One? Crew (DJs, guests, punters.. the whole shooting match) back to the Chapel Bar to do an extended Sunday afternoon session – an unparalleled DJ line up ensures that Sash is definitely the place to spend Sunday 9th September.
Not only are we lucky enough to play host to the beauty of Birmingham, DJ Rebekah, who returns to Sash to bring along another selection of corking tech house tunes, but we’ve also got a few more aces up our collective sleeve.
Rebekah started off 2007 with a four-nights-per-week residency at Absolute House in Shanghai playing alongside such luminaries as James Levelle. Her many UK residency's and regular appearances include Custard Factory (Birmingham) and Sankys Soap (Manchester).
Paul Morgan, of Beatbox Stereo (Manchester), last played at Sash to GREAT acclaim – his housey grooves and deep vocals were funky enough to keep the most exhausted of Sunday party people on their feet and deep enough to please the tech house aficionados. Over the past year Paul has rocked some of the worlds leading clubs and nights from Manchester to Brazil including R.E.C, Sao Paulo. He's also off to Austrailia, starting in Hobart, Tazmania plus plenty of exciting things planned for 2007 both in the UK and Internationally.
Kriss Darang, host of Just the One, makes his Sash debut and, after throwing what will be a full house at Deep Blue with Spirit Catcher LIVE, will no doubt be on top form. Over the years Kriss has played along side Eric Morrillo, Harry Choo Choo Romero, Richard F, DJ Gee, Tall Paul, Lisa Loud & many more. Kriss did the front cover CD for Notion Magazines 2005 December Issue. Kriss and Lisa loud mixed the CD back 2 back and it featured some of the biggest tracks of 2005.This sold 25000 copies nation wide. Kriss is also due to do one for this years October Issue. For an already very busy guy Kriss also launched his own record label ‘devoure’ in November 2006.
