sankeys soap closing?!

anyone heard about this? heard it on radio last night. they said sankeys was closing in june!8O but the venue would still be used. why? sankeys is brill i'll be gutted to see it close.

i'd like to point out i also lost bed! i was only in my first year at uni in shef when bed closed, gutted. and now sankeys why do they do this to us? :x

true! although i have been to ****e clubs in manchester that play the same music every week and paid ten pound or more in. last weekend i only paid 8 pound in sankeys for steve lawler which was a brill night. i know who i'd rather give my money to!

Sheffield's club scene is on the up once again.

Next time you're over check out Plug (loads of diverse nights), Urban Gorrilla (Deep Dish 28/4/06), Hustle which is always good but not been since moving to GC1, Pinupclub etc.

Some great late bars too - "The Runaway Girl" is brilliant!

How good was last Friday at Sankeys!!! I love tribal sessions and will seriously miss it if it goes. Better make a point of going more often.
