dont think what ferry plays right now is any thing close to trance, neither tiesto, neither AVB haha
Agree on that! Was ASOT at Ushuaia really anywhere near Trance last year? Never went..... just asking....

i listened to armins solo set the 7hr one online.. i listened for 10 minutes skimmed over the tracklist and stopped it

Bit like TIESTO! Jumped on the EDM band-wagon.... Ironically I found some of Tiesto's old trance albums actually quite good. More the chill-out ambient stuff.
Talking of Tiesto (who thinks Ibiza clubs have not changed in 10 years)..... is he going to rear his head in Ibiza this year? Or sticking with Vegas?

Was it 2007 or 08 when Cream had to open a week later than planned? I ended up missing out.
I loved Armada at Amnesia with Release Youself on the Terrace.

that was 2007 when amnesia was shut for a few weeks as a penalty. cream opened late and cocoon did 3 parties over at privilege.

With Derrick Carter scheduled in Pacha on a Friday night, might suggest that's Insane. So I doubt Ibiza Rocks House would be at Sankeys on the Friday, or would it?!

'In other Sankeys news, there is a strong rumour circulating in Ibiza that Vincent is about to close a deal with his old friend, Andy McKay, to bring the Ibiza Rocks House party to Sankeys on Fridays. The party which resided at Pacha on Monday nights last season, showed lots of potential but Pacha decided to drop it in favor of Steve Aoki. The move may prove short sighted by Pacha and the party is sure to do well at Sankeys, where both McKay and Vincent will provide it with the time its needs to develop'

Trance was huge in Ibiza 10-12 years ago, not anymore but still has his place on the island. 10-12 years go they were not EDM by the way and guys like David Guetta was doing only 2-3 f*** me i'm famous per season and was struggling to get number in the club. Time has change
Assuming it is going to be ibiza rocks house how do people that went last year think it fits at sankeys?
Didnt go last year but just watched some videos from pacha and struggle to see how the ngt will be created in a club like sankeys. The LAB will have a big part to play. For me the basement isnt flamboyant enough for the dancers and decor.

Seems a bizarre hook-up to me, not that I attended Ibiza Rocks House last year. But the marriage between those 2 brands seemed a decent fit.
Sankeys is the total opposite of Pacha.
It's purely about the music, not the image. Hence the dark, dinghy venue with incredible sound system. If (keyword) true, it surely goes against what D.V. has tried so hard (and done v.well impo) to achieve - creating a credible music venue from the ground-up as an alternate from the established super clubs.
