Other than Barac
Barac is top notch though, and if you get a free ticket could def be worth it.

Agreed on Barac but I think I'd prefer to go and see Hi instead as I haven't heard the best about sankeys and the line ups not special! The week after that week tho!! That's an unreal line up!Barac is top notch though, and if you get a free ticket could def be worth it.

Shall I take a punt at Dance 88/89 @ 4 euros a throw?
Not done Sankeys since 2013.
Not exactly, even though that is part of it. Just everyone I know who has been has said "it's alright nothing special probably wouldn't go again"What's putting you off sankeys/Sankeys crowd?

I completely agree and this is exactly why I was going to go as I know the only night I would enjoy is Unusual Suspect.Depends what you're after and what you like... maybe not 'special/magical' in the Ibiza sense that amnesia terrace, for example, might be, but sankeys on a good night is a quality club.
Depends how many nights you have and where else you're going but I would recommend it.
And unusual suspects will have the best crowd of their nights I think (more European than British)

But I really want to check out Hi and unfortunately the night I'd pick there is also Thursday!! Seeing as I can here very good stripped back music in London most weeks I think I'll try something new and see Hi, I've got a memebership for Fabric and not much can beat there room 1 for a good crowd and proper music
Exactly! If I was going the week later than I am it may of been a different story! Enjoy both! I want a review of Hi opening even thought I'm sure there will be many.Fair enough yeah, loads of good events for you down there ha.
Thankfully I'll get to do Unusual suspects and Hi opening
Had some great nights in sankeys a few years back when solomun had his neon nights, and at fuse seeing Julien Perez play a blinder. The last couple of times I've been though it was poor and I've walked away feeling like I had wasted a night doing something I could have done in London. I would give it another go but only for unusual suspects.
This is my exact view on it! I don't want to spend a night in Ibiza doing something I could do in London if not better! If I want to here good minimal I could go to fabric most weeks or fuse every month! I'd prefer to spend my Ibiza holiday doing something different! I saw RPR at Fabric couple years back and Troxy couple weeks ago and I'm pretty sure no unusual Suspect night would be able to top themHad some great nights in sankeys a few years back when solomun had his neon nights, and at fuse seeing Julien Perez play a blinder. ££££££ is why or should I say €€€€€€Think I've said this before but I think they make a mistake trying to run a 7 night a week programme with some nights having just the basement open. Like dc10 I think sankeys would be better trying the less is more approach and only opening for 3 nights spread across the week. When all the rooms are open and it's busy it can easily compete
In your case given what you have access to at home venue and music wise I'd go with Hi.don't want to spend a night in Ibiza doing something I could do in London if not better!
