first news/gossip in

- opening with another 24 celebration (twice 12 hours), most probably (but still TBC) on thursday and friday 23th and 24th may, perfect way to enjoy the IMS parties up in dalt villa and then carry on at sankeys. also mind space opening should be (TBC) on sunday 26th may so that already looks like a great few days to come down to ibiza!

- sankeys will continue in being the proper house music club of the island. a few great residencies have already been confirmed (but sssssssshhht)

more to be announced as soon as we can ;)
 
Ok so every Friday from next week we will announce one of our residencies confirmed for next summer at Sankeys Ibiza.....and you will not be disappointed.
 
Hey there, now we know we said that we were going to announce a confirmed residency each week, but we feel it would be better to announce our whole program on January 31st and some other exciting news about the venue. We allow you dedicated Sankeys fans first news on all our line ups and parties for the summer and more importantly first grabs on all our special discounted early bird tickets for all our events and stupid discounted prices until they sell out. Anyway you will not be disappointed. SANKEYS 3D is coming to Ibiza in 2013 !
 
Sankeys 2013 schedule - what's the delay?

Says on their site that they would announce the whole schedule on the 31st :(

First news is that Sankeys legend Steve Lawler returns. After a cracking first season where he literately smashed the arse out of the basement, his atmospheric Viva Warriors returns to the club on Sundays instead of Wednesdays for 15 parties over the season. We are so excited here back at Sankeys Towers for another season of red headbands, facepaint and of course amazing music.

Sankeys longest standing event Carnival returns to Saturdays for 17 shows with associated events with some of the best clubs and labels including Southampton's Junk, Fabrics WetYourSelf!, Miguel Campbells Outcross records, Shlomi Abers Be As One, Bugged Out!, Tenax Italy, Culprit USA and many more. But last and not least for our regular residencies we are announcing today. Wait until you see the line ups, it is Carnival on steroids and oozes with class.

But finally, after a lot of speculation and rumours we are finally proud to announce that Dirtybird Records will be hosting 12 parties every thursday from June 27th featuring Claude VonStroke, Justin Martin and friends. We have been working on this for while now and we welcome the San Francisco label to join our family with open arms.

Also there are some nice one off events from Flying Circus, Troupe Records, Clarisse Records, Resonance Records, Klik, Art of Dark andDeparture.

We will be putting out a limited amount special discounted early bird tickets for each night at the bargain price of only 20E, until we announce the full line ups of each event, then the price goes up to 30E so hurry. These 20E do not of course apply to the opening parties which are still at the bargain price of 30E per event or 49E for a double ticket on May 23rd and 24th.

Also: They plan to announce Phase Two of the next 60 or so events next week.
 
It starts the week after I leave :(. I'm going to have to go back later in the season as von Stroke is outstanding and his sound will be perfect on the Sankeys sound system - clear, crisp and sharp.
 
Bugged Out was ace at Sankeys in September, hope they put on a few of those nights. Also pleased to see Junk getting on the map, the music scene in Southampton is definitely on the up :D
 
So what's happening with Solomun? Do $$Pacha$$ have an offer he can't refuse? Surely that would have leaked out by now if they did!
 
What do people think about Lawler's move to Sundays? Going-up against 2 heavyweights in Cadenza & We Love. Different nights, granted, but still, seems a bold move.

cadenza and we love are a different crowd to the Viva Warrior party. I cant see it affecting Lawer too much.....
