sorry more cooking spotlight today:oops: ...............i'm quite a traditionalist when it comes to sangria.

But any recipes/methods that might work?? (i know there are thousands online, just wanted some individual choices):?

Oooooh! I love these cooking threads! I aspire to be Delia!

I have NEVER EVER had 2 Sangrias that tasted the same.....:?....but always like the one with red wine (of course), Fanta lemon AND Fanta Orange.....and lots of fruit! I prefer it more fruity and fizzy than winey! It is also nice with champagne too!:D

Now I know what's soda and what's lemonade... sounds totally wrong

I hate sangria and all that evil mixes, the only one I like it's Aigua de Valencia, a kind of sangria where you mix cava instead of wine and fanta naranja instead lemonade, soda or whatever;)
I think you should add a bit of coantreau too

cointreau would go well with the orange fanta.................i might make a few different ones:?

this is for 4 people and it is SO good!

cut up 1 whole lemon, 2 small oranges, a handful og strawberrys and let the fruit soak in 10 ml of Contreau or Grand Marnier (prefer the contreau because of its orange taste) - put it in the fridge for 12 hrs to let the fruit absorbe the alcohol.

Then mix 2 bottles of medium strong red wine, a good Merlot can do....with 1 btl of fizzling rose and 1 bottle of whitewine and add half a litre of either lemonade or soda of your choice.

serve chilled with ice in a big jug.

heaven........
