Not sure if he was being literal but a Nick Gibbs article in The Ibizan yesterday stated;
"A major project now underway is the creation of an uninterrupted paseo (promenade) from Port des Torrent running the entire length of the Bay and linking up with the san Antonio paseo to create an uninterrupted ‘Superbay’ (as we have coined it). "

Any sign of the promenade (or Paseo if your feeling exotic) extensions starting? Thought it was tendering last year to start this year and take 5 years, but realise plans change a lot in Ibiza!
In retrospect, probably a good decision to decommission it what with the spate of 4* hotels sprouting up
