After being a long term proponent of PDB I have to say that this year will be my last there. It has tipped the balance from being tacky and fun towards run-down and seedy. The prices you pay there don’t justify the product anymore.

I would go to San an if I were you.

San An has different areas for different tastes and different nights. The Westend, the Sunset strip, the bay, Cala Gracio, you can do something different everyday whereas Bossa I find it just the same all week, and it has more annoying ticket touts than anywhere on earth!

Depends what you are going for and for how long.

San An for reasons above.

Other nice parts of the island too if you are looking for chill time in between big nights (Es Cana, Portinatx to name but 2).

Bossa handy for clubs but pain in the neck with touts and the like.

Having stayed in PDB a lot more times than SA, I would say SA 100%, it has so much more to offer, especially since Space has gone, it doesn't really offer a lot for me.

SA has lot of different areas as mentioned above, whereas PDB is essentially just a strip, and one big long beach.

You will find yourself using taxis or buses which ever one you stay in
