the other day after seeing this top 10 somewhere else, i finally decided to investigate why USA/Mexico are continually in the world top 10 despite being about as good as glen johnson.

so basically, despite FIFA categorising weightings on the basis of regional strength, the weighting difference is so small that it means the better countries in weak regions will amass loads of points by winning most games (like USA/Mexico) but their position won't be significantly handicapped by the weighting. As follows

UEFA x 1.00
CONMEBOL x 0.99
CAF x 0.96
CONCACAF x 0.94
AFC x 0.93
OFC x 0.93

So, playing the Solomon Islands is only a 0.07 weighting difference compared to anyone in europe (yep even luxembourg). b*llocks FIFA, b*llocks!!

likewise, USA/mexico playin panama, st.kitts and nevis or any other carribean island with a name, b*llocks FIFA, absolute b*llocks.

i mean i know there are some bad types in europe but USA in world top 10 - :lol: :lol: :lol: gimme a break!!
