Salt Addiction - anyone hooked?

Not going too good atm, might need a few weeks in the Betty Ford.

Scrambled eggs with no salt, just couldn't do it, tasted of exactly nothing, used less than usual though.

Glad at least Pupps knows what it is like, for anyone never having had much of a thing for salt will completely not understand!

Considering taking up the crack pipe to get me through this tricky period:idea::D

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm salt! (remember the salt and shake bags of crisps (I used to use the salt cellar as well as the little blue bag...) :spank:

Honestly give it a few weeks and the craving will go - but I still look at salt longingly - make black pepper your new best friend ;)

Well Dave, at least Chewie's post above should put you off all food salty or otherwise for quite some time....

I'd suggest setting your self a goal with a suitable reward attached. Say a month without added salt to treat yourself.

For the reward, why not set your sights on, say, an item of clothing, perhaps something that'll make you standout on the Ibiza dancefloors this summer? I dunno, maybe a pair of trousers, something like that....

Good idea, could also splash out on some dance lessons, my shuffling is not up to scratch...

Unfortunately, quitting salt doesn't save you the same money quitting fags does...

Yeah, I wasn't suggesting he'd save the money on salt expenditure, just that a phat treat might be a motivator....

Btw, JV, who did you upset in the other place? Some said 'oh-oh we've got another Johnny Vodka here' on there yesterday

Some extreme feminists. Read the thread approximately titled "your vagina isn't just too hairy, too floppy... it's too brown".

I think some got mighty peed off with me. I'm not sure I made my points as eloquently as I should/could have, but a small group have given me a kicking for daring to question the feminist narrative/view and saying that certain problems are universal and pretty much equally apply to men as to women (in the UK at least).

I didn't start the thread btw.

Buckley - You can't have read the whole thread in just that time! I noticed a few other blokes ducked out early, which I'll probably do next time a thread starts encroaching on feminism. I think it used to be a bit of a protest forum, which is probably why there are some people there with fairly militant views.

Anyway, back to salt..
