Salinas to PdB - taxi/bus

Hi....we are over at beginning of August is it cheaper to hire a car once we arrive as i can't find anything cheaper than 350 quid so far ?

It'll just be the time of year, peak season. Do you need to have a car the whole time or is it just for a bit of sightseeing? I used to leave it till 2nd half of the hols as first 3 or 4 days were always a write off. I'd go back to the airport after a few days to pick the hire car so i could drop it there when i was leaving.

might help a few out.runs through pdb.strange years ago it was on then off.now i bet popular demand its running again.it used to run on the outshirts roads of pdb,not through which it is now

Wow - I remember when to get to Ses Salines from PDB on the bus you had take a trip to the Eivissa bus station. in 2005 I would take a taxi from the Hotel PDB to Es Cavallet for about $9 euro and then walk to Ses Salines, stopping to have lunch at Sa Trinxa and then grabbing the bus at sunset in front of that little store in Ses Salines. On the way back I would get off at a stop that was right after DC10 and walk to the Hotel PDB.
