Salinas to PdB - taxi/bus

I'd like to go to the beach at Salinas and will probably get a taxi there, but how easy is it to get one back to playa den bossa?

Is it maybe easier to get the bus back? Where does this leave from? Is it close to any of the bars/restaurants or any other markers?

Just make sure to aim for one of the earlier buses on the way back if going in high season. I've seen very long queues of people going for the 8pm bus and not all getting on it.
 
We nearly got stranded there last year. We had to get an illegal (OMG) taxi to get back. Make sure your organised :)
 
if you travelling in taxi (legal or illegal) frequently . you might as well hire a car. they cost 25 euros per day.

taxi from ses salninas to playa den bossa is about 14 euros now.

i stopped using taxi/bus in last 5 years, using car rental instead. i'm going to ibiza next week for 2 weeks. am having a car

Nail, head.

I reckon if you plan ahead, a car is do able for less than 200 euros a week AI. If there are a few in the gang, its the cost of a few taxis each and your schedule is your own.
 
358 euros for 14 days car rental with motoluis. thats about 25 euros per day.

taxi from airport to san Ant cost about 30 euros!!
 
I paid 12.5 Euro last time from Bossa, but I've never managed to get a bus back despite queueing for a long time.

Never seems to be any taxi's around either so unfortunately I've always got illegal ones back at around 17-20 euro, they will haggle.
 
We've caught the bus only a couple of times from Salinas, more often than not it's an illegal cab we take back to PDB. This year we've hired a car for most days of our trip, rental for 10 days was 156 GBP for a volkswagen polo type of car.

Question. I was thinking about hitting salinas this Friday; is it lively enough for 10 lads to enjoy themselves but also not as full on as bora bora + scenery wise how does it rate?

Have a walk along some of the rocky coves just past Sa Trinxa, you might even see some shagging. Walk 10 mins further up to Es Cavallet and you might even get some action ;).

I like a day or two at Salinas on my trips over, we usually head up to Sa Trinxa for a late lunch and a jug or two of sangria. Music wise it's a bit more laid-back but still good grooves, quite a rustic place compared to Bora Bora, definitely not as full on as Bora Bora with the dancing on the tables and people rolling about the sunbeds off their napper. If you've never been the best bet is to get down there and check it out.
 
might help a few out.runs through pdb.strange years ago it was on then off.now i bet popular demand its running again.it used to run on the outshirts roads of pdb,not through which it is now

Hi....we are over at beginning of August is it cheaper to hire a car once we arrive as i can't find anything cheaper than 350 quid so far ?
