Saga Bedouin @ PACHA 2024 - Reviews & Reports

Saga last night was great as always. It was busier than earlier in the season, but still easy to get around—younger crowd this time around too.

Musically it was not my favourite, the Acid Pauli B2B Viken Arman did not work for me and felt out of place with the vibe of Saga. I've also noticed the production (drops in time with ceiling lights, smoke machine etc) only really kicks in once Bedouin come on at 3, which only seems to hurt the warm-up acts.

I miss the old front garden with the boutiques and swinging sofas, but it is safe to say the new layout pushes you to socialise, and that's what we did!

Some great names are joining Bedouin towards the end of the season, specifically from Aug 21st onwards. Highly recommend this night!

This is true, but I actually like the way it builds up to Bedouin coming on. Also, based on this and previous years, the guests do act like guests and build up to this point really well IMO. One of the best was actually Pete Tong last season, who had the place buzzing just before Bedouin came on.

Still intrigued by Patrick Mason on the 28 August! Hmmm. This one could go one of two ways...

Without getting too boring with the praises, it was another awesome Saga last Wednesday!
Jimi Jules b2b Trikk really set the pace for Bedouin set and then Jimi Jules was back on with the guys for the last hour.
Very enjoyable night with quality tunes.

Planning to go next Wednesday the 4th, Tripolism and Boyz Noize on the lineup. Just looking to see what people’s opinions of the event this season are and how busy it is in comparison to other events at Pacha.

Saga has been one of my favourite party on the island for a few years since it was at Heart.
It's probably one of the less busy events held at Pacha, nowhere near to roadblocks kind of nights like Music On or Solomun for example buts still busy enough to have a good vibe there tho.
I thought it was busier at the beginning of the season but since Fisher and Paradise started their runs things quietened down a bit and this for me is a good thing as you can actually dance without being pushed around.
If you like what Bedouin do than I recommend you to go, I was there last week and also going tomorrow too and almost all other nights until the closing, including the date you mentioned .

Thank you, really looking forward to it. Be nice to experience Pacha with some room to dance.

A quick review from last night (as I’m off out again). Brilliant party last night at Pacha. I had assumed that a House Set from Patrick Mason was going to be a car crash. Thankfully I was 100% wrong. He had his usual energy but played brilliantly. Even him doing some insane version of Madonna Vogue (with him obviously doing the moves) worked. And the last 10-15 mins he was playing multiple tracks over Prince “I would die 4 U”. Hard to describe but was a brilliant part of the set.

Bedouin played a good set too. A lot more on the rolling techno underneath with their usual sound over it.

Pacha perfectly busy, best mid-week crowd going and just a damn good party.

I’m biased I know, as it’s close to being one of my fav Ibiza parties at the moment.

I don't really know Patrick Mason work but I must admit I was actually surprised by his set at Saga and in a good way. Very energetic to say the least.

As for Bedouin set, I'm a huge fan of them and this was my sixth Saga party this season but I must admit it was probably my least favourite.
It seems to include more vocal stuff with a more housey undertone maybe to fit with what was played before them.
I prefer when they do a more driving, heavy bass tribal-ish set a more "Bedouin set" if you know what I mean?
Still, this is not a negative critic, if anything they showed how versatile they can be and adapt their sound according to the mood of the evening and crowd.
Good to hear you enjoyed the night and that Saga is one of your favourite party, I totally share that sentiment. 😎
Just out of curiosity, where about where you dancing?

Boys Noize on Sep 04 is a Disco Set! Might have always been, but only just caught my eye.

Checked out Bedouin last night based on feedback from this thread, thanks for all the reviews folks! My wife and I landed in Ibiza after 17hrs of travel from San Francisco, got settled at our hotel, had some food, and decided for a warm up night at Pacha. Arrived around 115/130 and it was filling in quickly. Bedouin and Tripolism aren’t in my heavy rotation or at the top of my list music-wise, but figured a nice crowd and hopefully not overcrowded dance floor would be a good way to ease back into Ibiza, and the party delivered that, there was a nice vibe and the crowd was pretty into it. Bedouin came on at 230. We left early, didn’t stay for much of Bedouin’s set but they really got things kicked into gear. Fun first night for our trip.
