U.S. to kick England's collective backside on Saturday.

Please let it happen. I always enjoy the headlines from this country's bipola media the following day.

GOD WE'RE SO SH1T

Rugger heads dismayed at new depths the national team has sunk to. The Sun campaign for the public flaying of captain Phil Vickery starts today!

Or if they score a few tries then it goes completely the other way.

U.S. POODLE NO LONGER

England's red rose-adorned hunks rucked the Americans senseless in the opening gamE. We're going all the way again!

:p:p

U.S. to kick England's collective backside on Saturday????

Ya? Get ready to run, buddy! ;)

Some really good rugby since yesterday evening, brilliant that Argentina beat France:) i must admit i did think France would win.

Today's games were very good, the All Blacks hammered Italy as did Australia hammer Japan,England beat the USA but a much closer game, hopefully more good games to follow.

Ireland play Namibia on Sunday evening, and im expecting nothing less than an Ireland win,at least our Rugby team are doing better than our footballers.:?

Well we beat Namibia as expected but a dismal performance from Ireland,in fact we were almost outclassed in the second half, has not been a particularly good sporting weekend for Ireland with our footballers drawing 2-2 in Slovakia, and we scrape a win today against a team ranked 25th in the world.:!:

Just 2 points shy of certain nudity!
I didn't watch the match, but looks as though my countrymen made England work hard enough 8)

They did & played well. England were very poor - however the other results & performances against Wales, Ireland in particular suggest that the gap between the various 'tiers' may be closing. Which would be superb for the game in general & despite the cr4p management of rugby in general.

The closed shop that is the top level of rugby is a disgrace btw, the refusal of the 6/tri nations to open up in particular. The financial disparaties are shocking also. This is the way of the world, however if they want to open up the game to more people then they do it in completely the wrong way.

World Cup, hardly paid any attention to the game over the last 3 & a bit years!!

Cracking result for Agentina, but puts extra pressure on that group, and if i were a Paddy, i'd be nervous!! England, decent result, not special, but the Americans certainly have raised their game!! In the group games so far, NZ have stood out!!

Final France v New Zealand, either could win it!!

I stuck £20 on the Frenchies at 16-1 about a Month ago - now they're at 7-1

Might not win it but then remember how they did against NZ in a certain semi final at Twickenham a few years back ;)

Plus the home soil thing.....

(Yes I know some games are being played at Dublin, Cardiff & Murrayfield  )

Allez les Bleus!!

Hope they don't go through against England but £320 would be a nice consolation to get over it with!

I was in Wales on Saturday watching the game due to a bad bit of planning. Leapt from the chair when we won it, then VERY quickly sat back down!:lol:
