RIP Carry On/Old Terrace

the fresh fruit was always a welcome (if tangy) part of carry on.
oh yeah and the likes of DT, thomas bangalter, slam all bangin it out!8) 8) remember seeing sven vath literally carried out of the booth for playing dasch naschty german techno at 10am............credit to him, he then proceeded to have it off in the middle of the dancefloor for about 3 hours to buff who replaced him by popular demand.

Manumission Carry On was the most fun it was possible to have with your clothes on
altho nakedness was commonplace too, and in the days before the cuban brothers.
Fortunately for other Carry On goers I always managed to keep my clothes on on a Tuesday morning

The first time i went to space was in 2000 for a manumission carry on. Not being too clued up on the distances in ibiza at the time we tried to walk there from Privilege at 10.30am in the baking sun - not the brightest idea Luckily we were saved by an illegal cabby

i think because manumission moves to friday and saturday morning it's the Matinee day!
is it also something to do with licencing.
back in tha day, carry on was a special case in being able to open the terrace in the morning (whereas on sundays it wouldn't start till 11-12am).
maybe after all the new developments at space, elements of the license changed also.
personally, i also feel the manu thought they had outgrown carry on and that that event no longer represented where they wanted to be. shame but suppose by doing that it has preserved it for posteriety.
