heard sven 10 days ago, thought his set was very techy for most of the time (apart of the few first and last tracks).

i'm also really curious to see how cocoon evolves this year.

Some good bookings at cocoon this year. Liebing, Dettmann, the Romanians, Voorn...

This is interesting I heard that a few times in the last few weeks, I have never been to Cocoon & at the moment it's one of the nights i'm planning to give a ago, what else or where would you suggest after DC10, don't worry about my music taste as I like all house music excluding Dupstep. Or should I ask where you plan to go after DC10 if that's your plan.. :)

been going ibiza for the past 6 years and last year my best night was cocoon. sven was excellent that night. all about opinions but cocoon is still a must imo

I haven't heard Hawtin in Ibiza (but many times elsewhee) so I can't comment on performances there particularly but the guy is a brand now that people go and hear to tick a box. Full credit to what the man has produced under the Plastikman guise (I'm listening to 'Musik' as I type), a stellar DJ career in the 90's and innovations in the technology side of DJ'ing but I just don't think he is relevant now as an innovative soundtrack provider to a party.

Take a Hawtin mix and something from say Marcel Dettman and get a friend to play at random. See which you like more.

Can't see myself going back to Cocoon now I just look at it as a big super brand and the quality has went right out the window last couple of years. Used to go at least once every time I been to Ibiza but I've not been since the opening in 2010. I haven't been back to Amnesia either as the crowds get ridiculous at the peak time especially at the entrance to the main room.

At least in Space if it gets too packed you can head to other rooms. I'm definitely going to Kehakuma this year. The lineups they had without the Minus crew were outstanding last year so its only going to get better.
Really? My two best nights in Ibiza last year were both cocoon. One night was Loco Dice and One night was Hawtin, both smashed the terrace to pieces with amazing sets

Here is a video which I recorded, i think it sums up the night pretty well!

Yeah I've had amazing nights at cocoon but I've just went right off vath and co.
I like my music forward - last couple of years flat boring 4/4 house music.

Still not had the full line-ups for Kehakuma / Minus! Hope nothing is going wrong, but Kehakuma is the only Major League night we don't know the full listing for yet..... and its mid-May!!!

Big 2 page advert in new mixmag, albeit with very little detail, and a paragraph from Richie explaining the concept of the new night!

Full announcement must be imminent as mixmag hits the shelves in a matter of days!!

Can only assume Kehakuma will be running in June along the lines of last year!

What's hawtin saying about it?

Lifted from Hawtin speaking in Mixmag!

"Going to Ibiza is already one step away from everyday life. The concept behind Enter is that you'll be entering even further into another world, going somewhere magical. Its not just going to be different styles of music, were going to have a different theme for each of the multiple rooms at Space. For example, the small bar will be a Sake bar, with specially designed Sake cocktails and eclectic music. One of the terraces will be a technology playroom with interactive screens and sensors, so instead of just another room music it will be a place to hang out, trip out a bit with your friends!
In the main room we'll have more futuridtic, grooving techno - Ill be playing every party with dj's like Paco Osuna, Dubfire, Marcell Dettman and live residencies from Matador and Gaiser. The Terrace will have a lighter sound with DJ's like NIna Kraviz, Nick Curly and Radioslave.
I want enter to be completely different from any other night on the island!.............
Theres no fallout with amnesia, i still love the club and ill be going back to play the closing. In fact , I'll be doing some special events in Ibiza with Sven and Luciano.................."

Got to be honest wasn't too into this idea at first but if i got to the island this year I'll almost certainly be checking it out

Def ditching the Cream closing for this sounds really interesting. Love when people try different things on the island. Sankeys are also doing a wonderful job mixing it up and keeping things fresh to hell.

Marcel Dettmann :) nice that dude is the man.

Im loving the sound of this... Saw Gaiser last year and he knocked my socks off... going to make sure I book my flights for a thursday when he is on.
