anyone catch ricardo at the opening of cocoon. i did. the man is an enigma. when he is on ...he is all over it . when he is off ....well no comment. i honestly cant remember the opening of a cocoon where the terrace had been cleared by 7am. as in you could literally kick a football. is cocoon going to have a tough year, does someone need to pull ricardo (the great man) up and give him a talking too. what are your thoughts

i thought it was one of his best sets in years.
it just wasn't jam-packed that's it, the main room with sven was busier in the morning.

youve got to be kidding me. why was the room empty if it was one of his best set in years.each to their own. cocoon went to late morning last opening?! i definitely do not correllate that as one of ricardos best sets. you have to eject people out of that terrace usually. how is having it empty at the opening one of his best sets?! i saw people leaving the terrace going into main room ....how is that him doing a great job. are you for a second implying that his set was better than we he plays with raresh and the romanians?! what am i missing ....and im a ricardo fan!

ok i might have to be more specific. i stayed on the terrace until about 6am and thought it was a great set, no weird stuff. then i went over to the main room because i like the early morning sven stuff, so i can't comment on what was played from villalobos later.

main room was good i thought nostrum. they got liebing klock dettmann and beyer in there this year. isnt that something to look forward to. did you do afters by any chance?

yeah i also thought the main room was good and i generally like cocoon's line ups for this years.

yes i went to have a look at the afters you could say ;) (proper musical lesson from sven!)

the afters on the beach last week was probs one of the best parties of our holiday for lots of reasons. indeed sven schooled us all on dance music!

Last night was great. Got there at about 2. Main room was pretty packed and dubfire was throwing down. The terrace was not too busy at this point, moderately crowded in front of the podium and more sparse behind it. By 3:30 the club was pretty packed but not overly so you couldn't breath...perfect IMO. Last time I was at Cocoon you couldn't find a pocket of air and it ruined the night.

I hopped back and forth between rooms until about 5:30 when I stuck to the terrace until about 8:15 when I left. Luciano was still going and there was still a decent crowd.

Didn't hear bad music all night. Dubfire and Beyer were both throwing heat as usual. Kaden impressed me and Luciano was Luciano.

On a side note, Richie Hawtin was in the house and walked right past me. Skrillex was also in the house for some reason, he walked right past me as well and I'm not sure if he was really messed up or just trying not to be recognized.

Aahhhh good to be back on the island.

nice to hear that they're pushing the closing time after 8AM!it would be nice to reach at least 9AM!
