Review: Wisdom of the Glove, 12th June

Have not been to San an for 4/5 years. Went to go and meet a friend at mambo and see gg for pre party. First time I've ever been to mambo. I really enjoyed it. Don't plan to go back though. I'm not really a seated person unless I'm eating.
Anyways went to pacha. Main room and the room where they play spice girls David guetta etc where open.... magda was boring. I thought if your playing pacha (especially looking at the crowd that was there) you would avoid boring breakdowns and play a little bit camp (Even Minister Robert hood did last year with the luciano crowd).. but no pretty boring and ploddy. She started to play a song which I liked (axel boman arcimboldo sasse remix) but only the first 2 minutes before the half decent part of the song.
I like magda she is a good dj and really impresses me at the right time & place but it just wasn't the time and place for her.
New lighting is pretty decent. Unless they are sponsored by clay paky that must have cost a fortune, shame the lighting guy doesn't show what the lights are capable of.
All the best to guy gerber who is an amazing producer. i hope he has time to work and think about the glove. The night was really close to being fun a lot of people looked like they where having a good time though
