was there all night and liked it a lot.
the main room hasn't got a lot of décor, but the music was very good. loved guy gerber's live set which was pretty techy for his standards. he only got a bit mellower towards the end, he played his new and still unreleased track, which is an absolute bomb, can't wait to get this once it's out. very melodic affair. sven played a full-on techno set after him.
the terrace décor is quite funny, all those leaves hanging from the ceiling give an 80-ish jungle feeling as well as the dj booth décor of course. julien bracht's live performance was very interesting, always nice to see something new (drum kit set). and even though i'm generally not a fan of villalobos at all, i must admit he played a very decent set this time. not a lot of weird stuff, but proper forward-going music. it went on until 8.
the afters at la sal rossa was absolutely brilliant. sven played from about 4pm till midnight and delivered a proper musical lesson with a lot of classics, tunes that you haven't heard for a long while and stuff that you never heard before, but want to get your hands on ASAP. from about 9pm onwards it was really really busy, before it was perfect. closing out with the superpitcher remix of the MFA's "the difference it makes" I (and many other clubbers) happily left the first instalment of this year's cocoon series. great stuff.
