My last visit was a disaster.

Here in California there is a restaurant called The Yard House; being so named for its propensity for serving yard-high beers... And though I don't drink, I'm always on the prowl for plant-based cuisine, & they have a few delicious menu items; the gardein (soy) wings (imitation chicken nuggets or something...) in particular are fantastic. If you're ever in the United States, don't hesitate to look for this restaurant. It's got a sports-bar atmosphere that caters well to friends and family or parties.

Yard House is an American sports bar chain, with 80+ locations across the United States, mostly located west of the Mississippi River. Founded in 1996 in Long Beach, California by Steele Platt and co-founders Tom Yelenick, William Wollrab and Steve Reynolds, it now operates out of Orlando, Florida.[2] Yard House was purchased by Darden Restaurants in 2012 for $585 million.[3][4]
