renting a villa in S.A or P.D.B around £10,000 price range!

We're renting a villa in Saint Jordi, about 30 mins walk from PDB, We go on Saturday so i'll report back on how we found it. Its got to be better than a sh*t hotel the wrong end of San An Bay like we did last year!
 
I loved staying in a villa(twice) and apartments are good to. Doubt I'll ever stay in a budget hotel in ibiza again. The best thing about a villa is the views and tranquility. Really makes me feel I'm 'on ibiza' rather then listening to grotty kids screaming or the latest mos album blasting out by a pool surrounded by steroid addicts.
I know it sounds daft to, but when you get those moments in ibiza looking over the hills I get overwhelmed by the whole ambience, almost like a noise that makes me never want to leave... I think I may of totally lost it but I know some will share my err feelings(hopefully) :lol:
If you all want to party 24/7 a villa may not be your best option as it sounds like your first trip?
Give me the peace and beauty any day, a party is never more then an hour away 8)
 
i agree with you about staying in a budget hotel! stayed in a two star hotel last year and had my suitcase stolen as we were checking in first thing! i haven't stayed in a villa/apartment out there but i did travel by myself solo to ibiza in March of this year just because i wanted to experience it from the locals point of view and basically hiked most parts of the island. i totally agree with you with the things you describe about the villa experience, but i dont think my friends will see it like that. they should also travel solo and then they will know what we mean! haha
 
probably ownersdirect. or there are some specific luxury ibiza travel agents i believe but prices may be abit nuts
 
we found ours on holidaylettings theyve got 908 properties listed so you should find what youre after. I found it handy just to find the villa we were interested in on there, then hunt around for the actual agents website

sorry guys to go off topic but my mates are not up for staying in villas or apartments! want a hotel in PDB. been looking hotel club bahamas and fiesta club palm beach. anyone stayed in any of these, and if so, any preferences??
 
go for the club bahamas.as palm beach is a super family hols hotels.foods about the same really.club bahamas was refitted a 3 years ago.very nice rooms there are now.about 200 yards nearer to start of bars etc in pdb.both set away from main strip.and both on flight path of airport.which you get used to.don;t get me wrong you will still find children in the club bahamas but not so many.people from all over the world stay here.

with any hotel in summer you need to get up early for beds.but loads of room on beach.beds are free in hotels but 7 euro;s down that end of the beach aday

Cheers for the link mate. Yeah, I think that's the one we are going to book. I found a deal online with thomson all inclusive for £673 for a week. do you think that's good?! would much rather stay here than in ibiza rocks (which some of the 9 friends want to stay in) which I think is overrated and too commercial! if your into your deep house or underground house, stay in playa d'en bossa right! who's with me? lol
 
i agree im not sure ibiza rocks is what your looking for. there are better places if you guys are prepared to spend abit as you said
 
yeah totally agree with you on that mate! up until last year, we were always the ones going for the cheapest deal! but after having my suitcase stolen from piscis park, i now truly go by the saying "you pay for what you get". we were down bora bora all the time last year anyway and spending the nights in the big clubs there, so it seems crazy to me to be paying for 3 taxi rides back and forth every day. i would rather stay in PDB and just go over to SA maybe twice for mambos and 123 festival (if its there then!)
 
You can't go far wrong with the hotel linked by Stephen, stayed there a few times and its a brilliant hotel, stayed in the fiesta hotels in PDB 7 times (maybe more) without a single complaint
 
10K villa to Spanish Omlette and chips every night....You chose wisely Grasshopper..:p
