After this had happened were you too scared to use the tube, etc? I know the government, etc says don't let the terrorists win... but....

I hated it for weeks after but I've got no choice but to use it for work etc, I was so panicy tho and would be in tears over the slightest thing.

The thing is you've just gone to get on with it don't you or else the bastards will have won.

more emphasis needs to be placed on trying to understand the reasons why this happened.

just denouncing it is only likely to give rise to repeat incidents.

Wouldn't wipe my arse with it.

quote from the Daily Mail

"under no circumstances would we ever venture within 100 metres of Robders "wizard sleeve" of an arsehole"

not really surprising - the metro is owned by the same people as the daily mail.

Angling Times & Heat are owned by same people doesnt mean they have the same views? ;)

Ohhhh I don't know about that. Haven't you read about what Tracy Trout has been up to with Morris Minow? It is scandalous 8O

You'd be surprised at the homophobia in Angling Times actually.

I think you misinterpreted their "keep fags out of our waters" campaign was aimed at smoking anglers ;)

went out to city square, graduation ceremony was taking place at the same time and they all spilled out at five to. probably the noisiest 2 minutes silence i've ever attended.

I was at Liverpool St station for the 2 min silence. There was a single bagpiper playing as 12.00 approached and everyone just came to a halt. Felt very emotional.

There's not been a single day since 7/7/05 when riding the tube that I haven't thought about it.

I still get on every day though.

Silence was good - they might appear to be a pointless waste of time but aside from commemorating the dead and those affected, they actually project a lot of positivity.

As iodd as it sounds, you do get a lovely 2 minutes silence where I work (Loyds).

They ring the Lutine bell, and everyone stands and comes to the edge of the balconies.

For the 11/11/11 on, they get Veteans in and lay wreaths etc.

You can hear a pin drop. I sometimes wake up in cold sweats if I ever start having the nightmare that my phone goes off during one of the silences.

Apart from being buried alive, it's probably my worst fear ever.

 Best keep your phone number under wraps then, I don't think I'd be able to resist that one.
