Haven't seen any posts on the Roger Sanchez night at Pacha, is it worth a visit. Have been to Manumission a couple of times so want to try something different.
 
Ive heard its meant to be good. Im goin when Im there in July

hes doing June 5th at turnmills in london - come down if u fancy a 8/9/10/11/12/13/14 hr session with the s-man.

no cheese, just quality house music
 
I was there couple of times last year. In the middle of the summer it is a good night. Very good quality house and happy clubbers. If you are going little bit out of season it could be quiet. And when it is quiet and there is only one dj it can be boring.

its not like roger plays same sounding music all night... like some clubs and djs which ill refrain from mentioning in fear of a good slappin.
 
I had one of my best nights ever at this night a couple of years back. Brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it! A fantastic night well worth a visit!

I didn´t mean that he played bad. But when we went to Pacha last September it was totally empty. The terrace was shut and there wasn´t one soul in main room. So we hang out in Funky Room and Roger just played and played...nobody danced in the main room. Maybe four o´clock somebody started to dance...but it was so sad. :(

Verdict: If you build up your set (like Roger does) it works very well with club full of people. IT DOESN´T WORK WITH EMPTY CLUB. If club is almost empty it is better to play little bit of this and that. That way you can wake up people. And when there is more than one dj it happens naturally. Can you see what I meant :?:

which date was this? - believe me, its hard playing to an empty dancefloor... cos people are generally too shy to get into the centre...

which is why we love barbie so much!

which sept date was it? - i went to closing and that wasnt rammed silly, just nice n busy, which was cool. (after the push u out of way people left).
 
was at release yourself in turnmills last year, great tunes but not the usual Turnmills friendly crowd, am sure Pacha is different
 
We went the start of September and he rocked the room off, prob about half as many people as eric pulled in but that was the added bonus.

Def go, cheaper then most nights and just as good. Rodger is a top man also :D :P

sounds so temting but I have an exam a week and a half after that so might have to keep my brain feeling fresh :evil:

My mate rich went the last time he played turnmills though and said it was one of his best nights in a long time.

I wont rule it out just yet though :D
 
Great night with an amazing house music by the S-Man.
And yes at times its not that full and lack people that dance in the early hours of the night, but as the night goes on the dancefloor gets filled and things start moving :D

We went to RY last year and I would defo reccommend it, we just had the best night. I hadn't been to Pacha before so i can't really comment on whether it was quiter than other nights but it was busy from what I can remember....
